Thanks for your wonderful post. I'm with you with Sybil Trelawney. Not because of the character but because I didn't really like Emma Thompson's performance.
Don't get me wrong, I think she's a wonderful actress but in this particular role I wasn't too impressed. I don't mind Umbridge as her performance was quite good.
I still haven't made up my mind for my favorite film but I'm leaning towards the last 2 (Deathly Hallows editions).
And you're quite right, JK Rowling's books do contain that little bit of magic, but we could expect no less from her after all :))
